In 2022, I was awarded the RAISE: Research, Action, and Impact for Strategic Engagement Doctoral Fellowship by the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education at Stanford University. AGUATA UNION OF ATLANTA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Aguata Union of Atlanta is the diaspora branch for indigenes of Aguata Local Government area of Anambra State of Nigeria, residing in the state of Georgia. Formed in 2008, we are dedicated to advancing the community welfare of Aguata indigenes in Georgia as well as encouraging the development of our cultural and social heritage of Aguata Indigenes in Nigeria. I serve as the Youth Coordinator for this organization and in 2023, the youth members (ages 21 to 30) of our diasporic community piloted a program to empower youths back in Aguata with a minimum of a high school certificate and no more than 30 years of age, who are indigents and/or reside in Aguata. New Student and Family Programs, Northwestern University

As a Peer Adviser durng my time at Northwestern University, I served as a mentor for 11 incoming undergraduate students beginning in the Summer through the end of their first year at Northwestern. I also lead intentional dialogues about new student experiences during orientation week. I also taught a two-quarter seminar designed to introduce them to the engineering curriculum
